I've already told my husband that he is watching the kids for a couple of hours at some point on that weekend so I can go and see it. I can't wait.

When one of the gals moved to Manhattan, we also all flew out there to go on the SATC tour. I can't wait to see my girls and I'm so excited to see the movie! We won't go til Saturday though since one gal is meeting us up late

I love Carrie because there's not much that she does effortlessly! What makes my heart break is the part of the trailer concerning Miranda and Steve. I adore Steve...fingers crossed.

I bought tickets already. Honestly, I AM excited, and hope Big and Carrie stay together and that Miranda and Steve do too, though from the trailer it does not look good. There is a part of me that feels, Meh, it is four years since the show ended, and I was SOOOO into the idea of a movie a few years ago, but feel the ship has sailed to a certain degree. I mean, it has been a while and I have to reacquaint myself with all of the characters again. I hate going to the movies at all because the seats aren't comfortable and there are a lot of people around when a movie first opens. I imagine DH won't want to see it with me. Maybe after a couple of weeks I can go during the day when it won't be too busy. I'm excited about it!!

I think the end will all be happy endings, Harriet! At least I hope so. SJP has said that it's what the fan would want, and some things that the fan doesn't know she wants. So that sounds good :). I really don't think the writers are going to do anything too crazy or fans would revolt! My friends were going ape at the end of the series when they introduced Alexsandr (sp? I remember it was funky spelling) - they have to know we want happy endings :) ETA: ***POTENTIAL SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE TRAILERS*** Re: Steve and Miranda - Steve says something along the lines of "It was just one night, it didn't mean anything" and then you see Miranda and Carrie boozing it up
