I also put in for my transfer, thinking that if I got it, it wouldn't be for awhile because of the budget constraints lately. Well I got a phone call yesterday and I GOT THE TRANSFER!!!! All of the higher-up's were fighting to keep me in the agency, so they worked hard to transfer me instead of possibly loosing me to another agency. I'm so happy and they want me ASAP so I will be moving at the same time as my BF. Both of us will be starting at our respective jobs the same day! No long distance!!! Also, the new position is not in the field that I am currently in (intelligence), but is in the field that I had originally wanted to go into (forensics). It really is my dream job and I'm looking forward to working hard and moving up in the ranks. So... after all of the worrying and hard times in the past year we FINALLY get to have things go our way. We are both so excited and I just thought I'd share! Now we are moving in three weeks.... time to find an apartment! YIKES! "So When Sickness Turns My Ego Up I Know You'll Act As A Clever Medicine. Actually, I should be packing up the house, but I decided to take a little PS break! haha We contacted a Realtor in the area yesterday who also is involved in rental houses. Hopefully she will be able to find us something up there! absolut_blonde, I studied Criminology in College and loved it. I had an internship in forensics and when I moved down to Miami I got a job in the intelligence field. Both of them are very interesting jobs. Addy, I wish there was a relocation team with my agency but there isn't. We will be doing it on our own. Hopefully we will find a good house soon!
