I think they're cadillac-cut side stones. If I'm remembering correctly, lotofsparkles' ring is also a 2628, but with a RB center stone. Maybe she'll pop in here and confirm!

they are amazing and different

they would match well with an escalade however, gas blows

Yup, I've heard them referred to as cadillac-cut, epaulette-cut, bullet-cut... Whatever they're called, i think they're fab!

Ksbling~ I must say that you have wonderful taste. Something about that setting just makes the center stone look so much bigger than it actually is, i guess it's the halo/side stone combo. That's probably the main reason I chose this setting as well. Anyways, it looks great, congratulations!
