I'm Engaged!!!

Just_Me Cut Rock Total Posts: 117 Last Post: 6/11/2008 Member Since: 4/14/2008	I'm engaged!!! Yesterday, on my birthday, my boyfriend proposed to me! He had it all planned out and it was so romantic! All he told me is we were going to have a picnic in the park. When we got there he made me turn around and close my eyes while he set stuff up. When I turned around he had a blanket on the ground COVERED in rose petals! The blanket was set up with beautiful plates, napkins, wine glasses, bottle of wine and several boxes. He told me we were going to have dinner and a dessert themed picnic. He told me I had to open the boxes in certain orders and then my card last. The first box had chocolate dipped strawberries. We then had pizza that he got from the pizza place where we had our first date. There was a box with salad but we forgot to eat that - who needs salad when you have pizza and chocolate?! LOL Then it was time for me to open my special dessert box - it was a beautiful flowered box wrapped in ribbons. It took forever but I finally got it open and inside was a custom piece of chocolate he had made at a local gourmet chocolate shop. On the chocolate it said "Will you marry me?" and inset in the chocolate was the most gorgeous ring! I instantly screamed "YES!". I was so happy that I forgot to look at the ring right away. But let me just say it is absolutely beautiful. Finally I read the card, which said "I assume you said "YES"..." and tons of other really sweet stuff, including "I am so excited to me your husband". The effort he went to with all if it is just amazing and I am so blow away. He took my mom to lunch 2 weeks prior and asked her permission. She was so touched by that. Our families are beside themselves with excitement. I am just so happy. I will try to get pics up later if I can figure it out!

It's white gold with a RB center, and 46 small RB pave stones. Then center stone sits up higher (cathedral style I think). The band branches into three parts/shanks (I have no idea what this stuff is called) into the center square halo. I love the profile. It is so pretty and it has infinity scroll work on the profile under the center. I love it! :)
