Good evening. Here's hoping that there are some nightowls on here. I could use your help. I'm trying to figure out a setting... I'm researching princess cut stones around one carat. With that size stone, what size diamonds do you recommend for the setting? I was thinking of .5 total channel set on the sides. Will that look too small/big? Please advise!! Thanks in advance!!!

that will make a 3 stone if that is what you want - up to about .80ct will look 3 stone. If you want a sloitaire then drop the size to under 1/4ct Garry Holloway FGAA DipDT |

How about this: a one carat center stone with this setting: http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-engagement-ring-setting-white-gold_5846?filter_id=1 My main concern is "proportions". I don't want the ring to look silly with the wrong size stone in the setting. Thanks again!
