ladyciel Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,381 Last Post: 11/24/2009 Member Since: 3/24/2007	I decided that I wanted a really sheer veil, which meant I had to get one custom made. I would have done it myself, except I don't have time/patience for the beading. This one ended up being $75 from Veils by Roxanne (she sells on ebay as well as her own site). I ordered a 50" long x 40" wide oval mantilla, except instead of lace I had her do scattered beading. After I got it today I decided it would fall better around my face and shoulders if it had an itty bitty bit of gathering at the comb (to help it round out around my head, if that makes sense. I was starting to worry that maybe the veil was too matchy matchy w/ the dress (the scattered beading). I'm feeling much better now, though, reading your comments and looking back at the photos again. As I said to my MOH, I'm going to be a sparkle/glitter bride. It seems I haven't passed up a single opportunity to add it to my ensemble! Beading on my dress and veil, sparkly earrings, round solitaire necklace (TBD, but this is most likely), rhinestone clips on my shoes, e-ring, diamond wedding band. I love the look of dainty bracelets, but that would probably be overkill, right? I'm currently looking for some hairpins (probably more sparkle...sigh). I think the only jewelry that won't sparkle is my grandmother's pearl ring that I'm borrowing from my mom. Wait! I DID pass up on sparkle! No tiara! ETA: I should add that I'm not planning to wear the veil for the reception, hence why I think I should get some hair pins. ********************** Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same. - Emily Brontë
