HI:

I used Avon's for years and liked it, altho my face always had "shine".  Used Clinique's and liked it as well.

I second this.

Combine 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press in greased 9x13 pan. On top, layer 1 package chocolate chips, 1 package peanut butter chips, 1 12oz can lightly salted peanuts. Top with 1 small can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat free big deal!). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes (the edges should be bubbly). I recommend not cutting them until the next day because it seems to take that long for the graham cracker bottom to really harden.

Ooooooh, me LURVES this one:

http://shop.paulaschoice.com/product/barely-there-sheer-matte-tint-spf-20/makeup-face

I know it doesn't seem like a lot of color choices, but it is so sheer that I think there's a lot of lee way.  I am Casper pale and the lightes one looks fantastic.  SPF 20, too.

Actually, me lurves all of Paula's Choice products.  Great, no-nonsense, no-hype products at reasonable prices.  What's not to LURVE?!!

And THAT'S my story and I'm sticking to it!

I have had very good luck with clinique's tinted sunscreen.  It is very gentle, doesn't cause me to break out and I never burn with it, which is the best thing you can do for your skin.

Although I have yet to try it, people are raving about Armani's new one. My girlfriend tried it and say that it's worth the hype.

HI:

I had planned to buy some/Armani when in the States this summer--cosmetics/perfume are much cheaper across the border....

cheers--Sharon

I have the new Armani. It is nice but very sheer. The oil free Laura gives a bit of coverage which is great.

I tried Cosmedicine's Tinted Oil Control Lotion with SPF. I've tried few and never really liked them- I tried the Stila illuminating one and a few others I can't recall... they either didn't match my skintone or felt greasy or something. Cosmedicine's the best that I've tried (but I really haven't searched for one- just try the samples I get from Sephora).

Stila just came out with a new oil free SPF 30 TM - I'm thrilled with it. It makes my skin just glow, and with a dusting of their illuminating powder foundation over the top I'm set to go for the day

I want to get that at Sephora. I am not sure if I am a 20 or 30 watt anymore, so I need to see it in person. I have to go to the mall next week so I will check it out!

I tried Laura Mercier's oil free foundation, not the tinted moisturizer and that I was going to crack when I smiled.  I am a huge fan of the Silk Creme though.  I am a Laura Mercier convert.

Hehe Ms Lynn - I feel like maybe not only are Ollie and Boo secretly related but perhaps we are too I am also freakishly pale, and LOVE Paula's Choice - I use her recommendations for almost everything, and almost all of my skin care stuff comes from her.

One other brand I'd recommend trying is Stila - I find a lot of Paula's cheek and lip colors look too dark or strange on me, but Stila consistently makes fantastic colors for our very pale skin tone, and their foundations are TDF - the illuminating powder foundation is my all-time favorite, its absolutely incredible - makes your face look flawless and glowy all at the same time, and it works over or under other products beautifully

the tinted LM moisturizer is not heavy at all. It gives a nice amount of coverage without being heavy.

I use Laura Mercier for everything but soap and moisturizer.  I've used Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer with Spf 30 tinted for years.  Its worth a try if you don't want to spend the extra on an expensive product right off the bat.  I do however use the LM foundation primer if I am going to wear anything on top and it is amazing for giving you an even coverage of powder or foundation.

What she said!  When I do wear "makeup" this is what I wear...I like that it looks so natural.  People never believe me when I tell them I have makeup on.  Oh but mine is not the oil free one.  Go get a makeover from LM and see how you like it.

DF I think you will really like it. I found it is at its best when the illuminating powder foundation (which I also ADORE) is dusted over the top - the combination is just fantastic. The oil-free Stila TM has a slightly strange texture at first and can feel a little weird while blending (not super smooth and oily like some of the TMs, if you know what I mean), but once its on and "sets" for a few seconds, it looks wonderful.

I LOVE Becca's tinted moisturizer. It's a boutiquey brand that is fabulous. Better than even the Laura Mercier I loved for so long...

Kay, where are you.. !!??!

She was looking for this very thing last weekend. :)

Thanks for the heads up re this thread, SDL.  I have used Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15 Light Tint for a couple of years and love the sheer glow it gives me.  I am literally scraping the bottom of the bottle at this point and Neutrogena no longer makes this product, although Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer is similar.  My one complaint about the Neutrogena is that it is not a heavy enough moisturizer for my super dry skin, so I wash my face in the morning, put on a regular moisturizer, let it dry and then use the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer.  I was hoping to find a more serious moisturizer that happens to be tinted.  I tried both Cosmedicine and Laura Mercier at the mall the weekend before last.  Unfortunately, neither had the color I love from Neutrogena and they were 3 times the price.   The LM lady at Nordstrom recommended putting on their regular moisturizer, then primer, then the tinted moisturizer -- that would put me at 3 steps instead of 2 -- not an improvement.  I think for the price I will just continue to layer the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer over another moisturizer.  I might give Dermalogica a try if I can find a place that will let me try before I buy since I like that product line.

Just to update re tinted moisturizer. I went with my list of recommendations all ready to buy one.Well they had none of them in the store I visited.I had been pressed for time and could not look elsewhere so I got what they recommended -Lancome.So far only used it twice.I think maybe its bit too dark I got the second shade, but seems to be better than MK I used before. Will report later if anyone is interested ...At least if I am not happy with it I can refer back to products recommended and look in different stores..
