tac1130 Rough Rock Total Posts: 61 Last Post: 6/18/2008 Member Since: 5/14/2008	what setting do you like better for a 2 carat round diamond (the diamond would look alot bigger that the one in the picture) i was also thinking of putting a third band on the other side of the top ring to make it more even and thick. please give me all of your opinions good or bad thank you

Personally, I like the first set better (it is very similar to mine). I would look at the Signed Pieces website at the Facets Duo sets as they are a much better quality. I did some comparison shopping before I purchased mine, and the Facets set was WAY less. the Jared stones were all SI1-2 G-H good cut while the Factes stones (per my appraisal) are all Ideal cut VVS2 F-G. I have an enternity engagement ring similar to that one, but all the extra sparle detracts from the center stone in my opinion. I would get smaller melle .02 pointers and around 2mm wide band.

JMHO, but with a 2+ carat center stone, I don't think she needs to go that small, unless she is specifically looking for that look. My center is 1.73 set in a ~2.75mm band with .10 pointers. The setting does not overwhelm the center stone at all... ImpatientOne
