YIPEEE!! You can take me off the list!!! My new FI surprised me in Maui at the Luau on our trip to Hawaii! It was so sweet! I started planning our trip last June and even shopped for a dress and shirt for us to wear to the Luau. Kendall knew I was really excited about it and made it extra special! I also had a good hair and make-up day that day, so I felt pretty and it was our first full day in Hawaii, so I was feeling relaxed and very happy to be on vacation. Anyway, while at the luau, after dinner, our waiter brought a dessert tray to our table and told us all about the desserts, then he told me I had a special plate. On the plate w/ my dessert was a HUGE pretend ring. We are talking about 2' in diameter. I was in shock and just kept saying, "kendall are you serious>???" he got down on one knee and made a speech, then popped the question! He wanted to suprise me and he did! He also gave me a temporary ring b/c he knew I picked one out, but wanted me to have something to wear in the meantime. I am so excited and it starting to sink in that we are ENGAGED!!!!

And for the record, I say go with the Fay Cullen RHR for the original proposal diamond. I think that one is gorgeous!

Of course I recommend the Luau, Old Lahaina Luau is AWESOME :) The road to hana is gorgeous! I loved the black sand beach the best, but be sure to give youself a whole day for the trip we took a helicopter ride w/ Blue Hawaiian....they were great! We drove up the Haleakala crater. some go up for sunrise, we just went up after our helicopter ride. it was great my FI loved it! we snorkeled around Lanai on Maui Ocean Riders We ate at Roys, super yummy! and at the Fish Market is Paia on the way back form Hana ABC is great for shopping for trinkets there is so much to do and see, you will want to spend a month there!
