I really love my dress so I kept an e-mail picture stored my my phone, and I wanted to show him  an other email with something else. So he saw it and now im so upset. He was disappointed to see it too. I'm just really hoping he'll forget by the time we get married. He only got a brief look at it.I did ask him to describe it and did get parts right and some wrong. that's a plus I guess! Is this bad luck? I thought you only get bad luck if he see me the day of the wedding before going down the aisle.

Don't worry, it's not like he saw you in it.

I don't believe in the bad luck stuff either.

My FI helped design my dress and chose one of the fabrics for it. He doesn't get to see me in it until the day, but he knows all the details.

That moment is about the whole thing, not just the dress so don't be too upset!

The whole bad luck thing is silly.
My was the one who took pics of me in my dress in the shop, I wanted to pick a dress he would like afterall.

There is a big difference between seeing a grainy cell picture and the real thing on with the make-up, hair and veil, so don't worry too much.

I don't believe in bad luck either. I really doubt he'll remember what your dress looks like by the time the day comes around.

Most men wouldn't even remember it a month after the actual wedding if there weren't pictures around to remind them

Please don't worry sweetie,

I have been married for a loooooooooooooooooong time. My darling husband, doesn't even remember what I wore yesterday. Your fiance won't remember what your beautiful dress looks like. Please forget that seeing the dress is bad luck. That is just an old wives tale.

It's not bad luck. But then again my DH went dress shopping with me. He spotted the dress first and said that he thought I'd look good in it. Sure enough, he was right. We also spent the night together before both weddings and all day together on the wedding days. Someone had to help me get dressed!! No bad luck here.

Don't worry about it, no bad luck. He's forgotten the details already, so the surprise will still be there too.
I was flipping through gown catalogs, and my FI saw the picture of my dress (model). He immediately exclaimed "Ooo, I like that!". I got nervous, but I just say "really?" and went through. Later he asked me if my dress was one of the ones in the catalog, but I said no
