I saw your gorgeous Whiteflash 3-stone trellis ring in this thread, and think it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm going for basically the same 'look' that you have there for my girlfriend's ring, except with round brilliants (here is the center diamond I selected -- I'm thinking .2ct sides)

Though I gather that you've gone back to a solitaire? Anyway, I was looking for your advice / some information.

I really love the WF 3-stone trellis setting, but am concerned about the band being too wide -- the WF site lists it at 4mm! Thought I believe I remember reading in one of your posts in a different thread that yours was more like 3mm or slightly under? How'd you convince them to do that? I mentioned my concern to Jamie at WF (she's the one I've been dealing with), who gave me the impression that it needed to be that wide. In your wedding band thread, I thought the 4mm band looked way too big for a base for the e-ring.


Oh also, what's your ring finger size so I've got a reference point for your pictures? My girlfriend's is a 5.5.

For additional reference, my setting thread has some pictures of the 3-stone trellis close to the sizes I'm looking at. Notice especially in the 'straight on' view how the side diamonds aren't any wider than the band
