if you didn't need to worry about the cost?

I never realized there were so many designers out there and thought it would be fun to hear everyone's opinions :-).

Well, are you talking about stores or are you talking about lines?

If you are talking about lines. Hmm... Good question. Ramona K. I ADORE Facetfire's gown. It is my favorite gown EVER. Period. The end.

But there are other designer's gowns I would love to go shop for as well.

I don't know what it is about her dresses but they didn't fit me that well. They are gorgeous though!

Ditto Gypsy. Ramona K.
Amsale is gorgeous also.

St Pucci (sp).  The most amazing italian line.  The dresses are very epic and grand.

I'd love to wear Monique Lhuillier, Amsale (which I am!), Reem Acra and Jenny Packham. There's one dress from Monique Lhuillier that I fell in LURVE with but I also could never afford. It probably wouldn't look right on someone who's 5'3" and 120 lbs! ^_^

Now this is my absolute dream dress: (sighs dreamily)

I hope this doesn't sound snotty but I have my dream dress...a Badgley Mischka.  After trying on 60+ dresses before finding it, I know it's "the one."

vera wang ... i didn't look at her dresses until after i found mine (at a sample sale), knowing they would be way out of my price range.  i'm very happy with my dress (a vera wang from couple seasons ago) but if money wasn't an issue, i would fly to vera wang flagship store in new york and try every single one of them!

otherwise, i love monique lhuilier, melissa sweet, and romona keveza.

I mentioned St Pucchi, but I didn't post the dress.  If I were eloping, the money we saved would be going into this beauty.

Melissa Sweet was my dream designer and after my first dress didn't work out I went for it!

Where would you wedding dress shop if you didn't need to worry about the cost?

Claire Pettibone. I kept choosing her designs (in magazines and on theknot, etc.) without realizing they were all hers.

I actually planned to go try them on, back when we were planning to try on only for ideas and then make a dress (my mom is a great seamstress), but at the time (last fall) there were no Claire Pettibone boutiques/salons in LA. I was just driving down Robertson today and, to my surprise, spied a Claire Pettibone boutique right near our apartment!!! Ugh. Just a few months too late.

I might go try them on just for fun. But after the wedding...

I second (fifth?) Romona Keveza. Such classic designs.
