To answer one previous post, it seems (from many sources) that the average e-ring in the us cost between 2500 and 3000$US including taxes (& setting of course). Of course, some companies (like Tiffany) will say to you that the average e-ring sold by them cost 10000$US (guess why?). BTW, the average wedding runs around 20.000$US. Trichrome.

Yes average wedding is something like $19k according to theknot.com. That would buy one hell of a diamond! ![]() So around $2500 for average ring (minus a typical setting averaged around $500 to make the $3k max) buys: a) the average 1c maul cut stone (those $1999 specials in the mail!) b) an okay cut light 1c B&M jeweler stone c) a .70c exceptional near-colorless, eye clean H&A cut from an online vendor d) a .40c Tiffany colorless VS stone or a similar 8* stone all rough estimates of course...but an interesting comparison!! ________________________________ |
