Can you get detailed photographs and an ASET image?  It is difficult to judge these shapes by the numbers, so if you could request these, then that would be helpful.  Also you need a trusted vendor to tell you if it is eyeclean, or eyeclean to your standards.

Info on ASET here - http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=73949

You need to give a little more information in order for anyone to give you an opinion. Cost of stone? Photos? Angles off the GIA report. And are you definite about buying this one or are you open to suggestions for internet vendors?

He already purchased this diamond, he did give me the GIA report numbers that how I was able to pull it up.  Now, I don't want to ask him more about it directly.  With the GIA report number am I able to pull up pics on the report...or does it come with pics?

No. Photos won't be on the GIA report, I think you have to sit back and know that your BF chose for you what he thought was a gorgeous diamond!!  Just wait with excitement, the numbers can't tell us much unfortunately, unlike with a round diamond, so now it is a waiting game!  If you want to play with some numbers, there are some here on this chart, but don't take them too literally.  http://diamonds.pricescope.com/fnc1.asp

Thanks so much for your advice! I really do appriciate you knocking some sense into me.  The last thing I want to be is one of those girls  who do not think about the thoughts, love and effort put into getting me the ring...but rather on how it will look or how much it cost...more of a vanity girl.  I am happy that we are taking a step into building a future together as one.  So, again thanks for all your kind words...I am excited indeed...will keep you posted.

Warmest Regards,

This diamond is too Deep for my standards, though that doesn't mean it will not be an incredible stone.  Otherwise for an SI1 purchased sight unseen hopefully it is 100% eye clean....  GL

Welcome to Pricescope Troy!

Omblita's boyfriend has already purchased this diamond for her, it is Omblita who hasn't seen the diamond, not that the stone was purchased unseen -  so it is a done deal, hopefully it will be a beautiful diamond, and one she will be happy with.

Omblita, you are welcome and I am sure your diamond will be fabulous, like I said, you can't tell much by the numbers.  Just enjoy the anticipation of getting a diamond your BF thought was beautiful enough for his Princess!!!

Indeed! WF ACA Princess often have depths in this area, and they speak for themselves.

Omblita, hope he doesn't make you wait too long!!

"It is also important for the State to inculcate in its subjects an aversion to any 'conspiracy theory of history' for a search for 'conspiracies' means a search for motives and an attribution of responsibility for historical misdeeds."

-Murray N. Rothbard, in The Anatomy of the State

John Swinton [1829-1901] Chief Editorial Writer of the New York Times (Considered "the Dean of his Profession" by his peers), when asked to toast an 'Independent Press' in a gathering at the National Press Club, circa 1880

"There is no such thing in America as an independent press unless it is in the country towns. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dare express an honest opinion. If you express it you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid... for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things....

The business of the New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and sell his country and race for his daily bread, or for what is about the same thing, his salary. You know this, and I know it and what foolery to be toasting an 'independent press.' We are tools, and the vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping-jacks. They pull the strings and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, all are the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."

Just an update on my e-ring, so folks my boyfriend is American and I am Canadian.  So, he planned a trip for memorial weekend to come see me.  What do you ladies think, will he or wouldn't he propose, he had me speak to the vendor that's desiginging my e-ring just to make sure that was what I wanted...the avatar pic to the left is the design I choose.  Wish me luck and will keep you lovely folks posted.
