Solitaire because it doesn't block pavillion fire?

I'm still deciding upon how to set the new beauty.

Right now it (cushion) is in a temporary setting and the four prong open sides are having the benefit of letting it show off its pavillion fire !

Recent thoughts were going with the Tacori 2620 but I think the head on it will block the pavillion fire a bit.   Although, I wanted the (sort of) halo that the Tacori has to put something around the stone to protect it a bit.

---

Did anyone get a simple solitaire so as not to block pavillion fire?

Thanks.

Girdle is medium or thicker on the exposed sides?

Thanks Garry.

Yes, thick to slightly thick.  I did think of that, too.
