Hello everyone. Okay so here are some of my favorites. We've only met with the first one so far, but we really liked him and his prices are amazing. Basically he does photography on the side for fun, so he doesn't schedule a lot of events and would be there for our event for an unlimited amount of time with a female assistant. He was a really nice, and I thought his portfolio looked great in person.

ETA: For the first option we saw whole wedding selections in person, not just the clips like he has on his website. Including a wedding at our venue, yaay!

First Option Great prices, nice guy. My ONLY complaint is I feel like he doesn't have a ton of album options, but I am not sure the others do. Plus he is getting some new ones. So we'll see.

I met this one at a bridal show. His prices are not too bad, he's mid-range. He's also REALLY experienced, which is nice.

Semi-Expensive He seems nice, but he is more expensive than the first guy and I am not really sure he is that much better.

A bit for expensive..okay a lot more expensive. She is really nice, but I don't feel like I click as well with her if that makes sense.

The last 3 have all won awards through the WPJA or the AGWPJA. www.wpja.com

So I guess the question is, should we even talk to the other ones?

Okay two more. Sorry. Second to last option I can't decide whether or not even to meet her, she forgot to send me a price list completely. Maybe that's too harsh.

Last one!!! Last option! She might be taken on our date, she is more expensive than our first option, but not bad.

ETA: Thanks for the help in advance!!!

Sarah...did you ever try the photographer I was going to use?

www.your-life-photography.com??

Don't know if she's in your price range but she is AMAZING. She travels to you for free, and you get the whole day with her from the moment you wake up until you go to sleep. None of that "$2000 for four hours" BS.

I really think you should check her out. Even if you get her smallest package, she gives you all the negatives.

I thought the third one (semi expensive) was much better than the first. I didn't like the first very much, sorry. Didn't care for the second either. So far, I like the third best... but I haven't seen the fourth, I may not even look at her though because CHEMISTRY and COMFORT are so important and if you aren't comfortable with her now, then you are going to be on your wedding day. I will skip her and go to the others you added.

Okay, I looked at the others. The last one was okay too. So either #3 or the last one, IMO.

I like the 3rd one the best, followed by the last!  The expensive one had too many cheesey faces for me!

After looking at all the sites, I would say go with #3 Adam Barnes.  He seems to capture true emotion of the event and the people and I really like his style of photography, it's really, really nice.

I don't like #4 at all, too cheezy
#2 isn't nearly as good as #3.
#1 isn't that bad though if you like the price.  Otherwise I would go with #3.

My second & third favorites are #5 followed by #6

Let us know who you choose!

Gotta be honest, I'm a huge fan of #2. #1 seemed like all the photos were posed and #3 seemed like everything was kinda magaziney. I like #2 because he did an excellent job of capturing real moments in an artistic way - what' nice about that kind of photographer, too, is that you don't have to stop what you're doing for photo ops throughout your day - I completely forgot that we had a photographer there for most of our wedding. HTH!

Wowow! No one likes my 1 guy. Aww. Man his prices were nice. Looks like I should keep looking into these other people some more. I think I am going to set up a meeting with number 3 next. Thanks everyone!!

Somehow I think I managed to forget! I am going to go back to their website again. I am silly.
