wawatu Rough Rock Total Posts: 63 Last Post: 10/28/2008 Member Since: 3/24/2008	Hi all, What is the biggest acceptable variance in terms of measurement for stud earrings? I am looking for another diamond to match my 7.12-7.14x4.mm diamond. there is one that's 6.9-6.9x4.1mm, would that work? my diamond is 1.23carat, when i search what is the smallest and largest range in terms of carat? thank you amers

I think the upshot was that the range that it is best to stay within is 0.10. So, for example, this range should be fine: 7.02 - 7.12 - 7.22 I recently picked a pair of earrings that are wonderfully matched. Their measurements are: 5.44 - 5.47 x 3.40 and 5.47 - 5.51 x 3.37
