My Niessing Tapered Tension Set Ring

I am a lurker coming out. This site helped me and my fiance with so much. The only thing I couldn''t find was the ring I wanted and the one I got. I thought I would share it for anyone else looking. It''s 2 carats and I am not sure on Color or clarity, other than it is shparkleeyyyyyyy!!!!

WOW! I am usually not drawn to tension settings, your ring is absolutely magnificient! The diamond is a great size for the ring - this is what tension settings should all look like!!

Akmiss, I know it's 2.1 Carats, but don't know the specs on it. He did all kinds of research and I just don't want to ask him right now, "so clarity? color?". I'll find out at some point. He did such a great job, that I don't want to spoil it with tech questions. It's really white and really sparkley. I forget my european size, but I have small fingers. I'm a 4.5.

I'm not going to go with a band. I really think that it is going to take away from simplistic prettiness of it.

Hi Guys! Thanks so much! Hopefully it helps someone in the market for a tension set ring. I will post more pictures later. I am actually a photographer and oddly can''t get a good close up because my lenses aren''t made for macro shooting. I''ll figure it out. Yes it is platnum and yes it is really heavy. Another thing I love about it is how easy it is to clean. With no prongs and the way the diamond "floats", it is easy to run my jewelry cleaner all over it quickly. Probably like most new diamond owners, I am cleaning it obsessivly.

Niessing will go up to two carats. They spent some time inspecting the diamond to make sure it could work. I said my ring is 2.1. It could be 2.01. Now I''m not sure. But I do know Niessing maxes out at 2 carats in this particular tension setting.
