Can you guys analyze my diamond. I was looking at all the GIA cert and the AGS cert and the numbers are different? shouldn't they be the same? details: GIA round brilliant 6.02-6.05*3.60mm .79 carat depth =59.7% table =58% girdle =thin,faceted culet =none polish =vg symmetry =vg clarity grade = vs2 characteristics = Crystal, Needle color grade =E flourescence =NONE There was a sticker on my original GIA cert and I'm assuming it's AGS 7122TL ROUND AGS 1 Wt: 0.790 diam (5.99 - 6.04)x3.57 DV 0.8% 0 depth = 59.4% table = 3.47mm 57.8% 1 crown = 34.0' 13.9% 0 pavil = 40.5' 42.6% 0 culet = 0.8 X V.small girdle = 0.6Thin - 1.9Sl.Thick 1.1% 0 i paid $3338. If this means anything it scored .4 on the Holloway. Thanks y'all |

Slofizz, the numbers sound great (including HCA) and the price is rather reasonable. Both crown and pavilion agles are very nice. The sticker is most probably Sarin measurements. The only thing which is just outside AGS0 is the table: 57.8% instead of 57.5%. 0.3% difference in the table size is virtually nothing. Enjoy your stone.

Sounds like a great stone for a great price! Congrats! Sarin does not always match the cert exactly, give some leeway for machine calibration and the like. Plus human error margin should be factored in too. Unless the differences were huge (e.g. table is 55 on cert but Sarin says 57) then I wouldn't worry. ________________________________ |
