Just came back from the jeweler and he showed me a 1.01 carat - D color - VS2 princess cut diamond. It looked a bit rectangular, and the only info I could remember was that the polish was good and the table was 65 and I think the depth was 79.6? Does that sound right? Anyway, the report said it had a tiny crystal and it had an extra facet. What do you think?

Welcome Beaverhousen! A table of 65 is fine but with a depth of 79.6 I would NEVER consider this diamond. I always liken diamonds with these depth %'s to a golf peg. So much of the weight of the diamond will be in the pavilion (bottom) and the diamond will look considerably smaller than a 1 carat.
