4-5pts each diamond.. so.. .16-.20 per earring and pendant..  for my daughter's college graduation.My jeweler will send me more renderings next week after he gets back from his holiday :) These are to be set in white gold, screw back posts. Approximately 7mm x 2.5mm deep. I told him that it wasn't a rush but I should have them in my hot little hands by not later than May 2nd. I love my jeweler, he's awesome.

 I hope she likes them as much as you all do. :) I'm really very happy I found those other earrings.. though my jewelers renderings are a lot cleaner I think! The pendant will hang from a not TOO tiny 16" box chain with lobster clasp.Freke, my daughter can't cook OR bake.. cmon over! lol She's been trying hard, though to become a little more domestic. lol Ice, Posh, Tacori (I love to watch your avatar change), Miranda & Joflier~ Thank you so very much.. I really did want to find her the perfect princess diamond but you know I'm reallly pretty satisfied that I am having this set made for her. I'm proud now and can't wait for them to be completed! lol I MAY have to *koff* try on the set after its done.. for uh.. photo purposes you know!  I'm so excited!!*eta, Justme~ AW! Thanks!!

Thank you Scarlet, Sharon, Thing, Pretty & Sevens!!! :) Gosh they haven't even begun yet and I can hardly wait to get them back already! lol Sadly, one of her roommates friend's stole her Tiffanys pendant a couple of months ago and she was sick to tell me.. I'm hoping this set sticks around... I think she'll be able to wear it (at least the pendant) most of the time. They won't be enormous I think...  Thank you for all your constant caring.. it means so much!

Her Major is BA in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Strategic Media and Public Relations She's opted not to complete her minor (ARGH!) she is just ONE credit short.. and her minor WILL be Political Science. |

awwwwww, what a special gift for a special occasion! i'm trying to remember what I got for my grad present last year if anything (definitely nothing as nice as diamond earrings)... now that I think about it, my parents were probably expecting a gift from me for putting me through college!

i've been reading about your quest to give your daughter earrings-you're such a sweet mom.(my daughter graduates her undergrad next may-she'll do it in 3 years-i'm so proud too and she's already asking for a little "toy" doggie of some sort to keep her company while at grad school but i wanted to do exactly what you're doing and have a pair of my diamond earrings "remade" for her.. they are just wonderful-i really LOVE the bead(ing) around the edges. can't wait to see the finale. i have young children(2 and 4) as well as older kids 19, 17, 12 and people think we enjoy the little ones more(which we do enjoy them a great deal) but there is something about watching your children grow into young adults and begin to fulfill their own dreams-it's amazing, isn't it? congratulations on your special daughter!
