Are those who live in say, Florida, allowed to look at stones at Diamond Brokers of Florida, and then purchase their stones online and save a ton? I used the Fla. example because it was the first thing that came to mind. If that is in fact the case, does anyone know of any online dealers that are headquartered in/near the Boston area?

Antiquediamond: As far as I know, if you go to the physical headquarters of a jewelry store that also has a website, the prices should be the same in person as they are online. The only difference that I can think of would be if you bought a diamond from an internet company outside of your state, you would save on sales tax.
