Michael Goldstein and Rick Shatz are two of the big players there, selling to the trade, but a friend of a friend might be able to make an introduction .

Thanks, Elmo. I'm in touch with Goldstein. I really would put you in touch with my tsav dealer if I could.

ETA: Bronstein is wholesale only.

I wasn't giving you a hard time - I understand, dealers will have private clients from time to time but it's not good for business if word of it gets out.

Phew. Give me a hard time anytime, as long as I can return the ribbing.

Michael Goldstein and Rick Shatz are two of the big players there, selling to the trade, but a friend of a friend might be able to make an introduction .

Harriet, Shatz is also trade only.  My best suggestion is to start on 47th street level.  Serious customers are not immediately brought into trade until proven by the retailer as a serious customer.  Then it becomes known to the trade.

Not an easy process, as larger ticket is only worth their while, and even then payment is cash on the spot or by letters of reference by their own friends and trusted established clients.

It's a tight group.

Thanks, Nicrez. Looks like I'll have to make friends in the diamond district.
