Picked this baby up today.....thanks for those who provided me with advice, and to all those who have contributed to this great forum. Weeks, which turned into months, of searching led me to make a very informed decision and led me to the perfect rock for her. Thanks again! I've posted some pics.

1.63, F, VS2, 67% Depth, 64% Table, Original Radiant Cut (Grossbard). I looked at scores of Radiants, and this was my favorite one. This F was whiter to my eye, and the test sheet, than many E's I looked at side by side.....I think I got lucky. I (we) are definitely most sensitive to color, and this was perfect for me (us). She hasn't seen it, but has seen things LIKE it, and I know she will LOVE it. I haven't proposed yet, but soon!!!!

You refer to this beautiful diamond as "her little radiant" ! But I think most of us would agree there is nothing at all little about a 1.63 carat radiant! It's a beautiful engagement ring! Best wishes for a wonderful and romantic proposal!

Here are a couple more pics in the daylight..... Proposal is surprising her with a two-night stay at a hotel I can't afford (but she is worth it!!!!), and popping the question there. Will be be on a beautiful island, room is a private villa right on the water. Can't wait!!
