So Tiffany and Blue Nile got downgraded by analyst. So do you think diamonds is set to go higher in price or a bargain after all? All kinds of factors plays for the downgraded. * US consumer spending on high end product is slowing down. * US dollar is falling * Unemployment rate will be out next week. * Subprime loans will be reseting for the next wave.

I think prices will go up - stronger foreign currencies will be buying the diamonds, so prices of rough etc will not go down.
