I love that one also!  If it had swoopy prongs instead of straight ones, I'd be gaga over it.  I love swoopy prongs.

Me too!  In fact, I fell in love with her ring so much that I knew I wanted my engagement ring to have a RB center stone with pear sides.

Yes, every time I see Surfgirl's avatar. I think I've mentioned this before. I've even thought about secretly having a replica made, but it would never look the same. Her diamond is what just makes it all go together so perfectly. Love that transitional!

I have not been able to find a single setting for myself that made my heart sing though. I ordered my permanent setting, and I think I more or less "settled" because my mind is so *FULL* of PS and all the SMTR threads!!! Argh.

Rather more than I would like - only with me it's the stones not the jewellery really.

I don't really wear jewellery very much - sacrilege I know...

I do covet Surfgirls diamond though, and diamonds don't normally do it for me.

Now over on the coloured stone forum, or a little trip through the Palagems inventory....

That's ALMOST! the same as mine!

I love the simplicity of it. Mine has a single prong on the outside stone, whereas yours has 2.

I believe its called a "DeBeers" setting....one they kind of made famous, I think.

Right now it is the all pave trinity by Cartier.

Got hubby to go to Cartier and see it on me. He liked it, which helps...no man is happy spending money on something he dislikes...

I am working hard at coaxing it out of him!

I also love the Oprah earrings, the round with the pear hanging down, and anything from Leon! I might reset my studs into his wire setting that hangs down a bit. I love it.

Everyone's stuff is so gorgeous!

I love Ephemery1's ring. I bookmarked it and I look at it anytime I'm in a bad mood, haha. And generally about once a week.

BF's (new) cousin wore some stunning diamond chandelier earrings at her wedding this summer. I saw pictures of them up close this month and almost died. They were the most beautiful things ever. And to think, I was in the same room as those earrings for hours and never got close enough to look at them! Heartbreaking.

Everytime I see the pave Cartier trinity ring, my heart starts crying, "But I want it!" Alas, my budget is much more rollingring.com than Cartier. Oooh, and those beautiful coloured gold stacking eternity bands. Not Cartier, I don't think, but beautiful. (I love laurenklein.com because I feel like I might be able to afford one someday soon...)

Diamondseeker2006's set calls out to me, as well. So does Musey's e-ring (and I don't generally like Asschers).

And, obviously, boston_jeff's cushion.

So....yeah. There is a lot of jewelry that makes my heart sing. But these are the ones that make me worry that other people can hear it singing (because man, can it sing loud).

Princess, which trinity do you like? I went in because they had the one with the pink and yellow diamonds along with the white, it was in the window. I loved the idea of it, so gorgeous, but truthfully in person it looked a bit garish and costumey. When I took hubby in, he agreed. He liked the all white diamond, the narrower of the two, best. I teased him and said I was saving him money as the one with the colored diamonds was more than double the price.

There are many things I do not need to have be name brand. But with pave work, this ring is a masterpiece. Each stone is placed so nicely, the prongs are done so that each stone is flush all the around, so there is no lumping or unevenness. The workmanship is amazing.

Diamondfan, I like the pave ring with white diamonds but white, yellow, and rose gold. And definitely the thinner band. I just think it's such a gorgeous ring. It'll be a looooong time before I can afford it, but it's such a lovely daydream.
