Are you set on wearing a veil? Because I think if you wear your hair up or in a low ponytail, some white flowers would look nice in your hair  I think your dress is gorgeous BTW

I think a very simple veil since the dress is so intricate. Maybe a long one? But it dosen't seem to need anything ornate. I love it though! It's perfect! "The absence of flaw in beauty is itself a flaw." |

I agree with Love; no veil, just flowers in your hair. That dress is too stunning to cover up in any way.

I agree with E, there is so much gorgeous detail. Just something simple in your hair if you don't need a veil for religious reasons. What a dress!

Yeah, I need to have a veil. Just for the 15 minute ceremony. Long, single layer, cut edge, you think? I'm putting some orchids in my hair for the rest of the night though.

It's truly gorgeous! I agree on veil-minimalism, if you really want a veil. Otherwise, I think just some lovely big orchids in your hair would look best!

Ohhhh....I really love your dress! I think I might have missed it, but who is the designer? You look really beautiful. Good luck with finding a veil! I don't know anything about them (and I'm not wearing one personally), so I can't offer any advice.

I was really nervous about it, so I'm glad that I got it on and it actually kinda fits. I'm sort of pear-shaped, so I am surprised that the top only needs to be taken in a little. I think I'm going to tack the lace together at the v-neck a little so it is not soooo low cut.

basil, I LOVE the dress, it's beautiful. I'm pear-shaped too, and also ended up buying a body conscious dress. I was surprised that it looked nice, I tried it on only because my mom, aunt and sister insisted...

THanks Claudinam, AmberGretchen, Sabine, Harleigh, and Bee! I forgot to mention - it's Jim Hjelm, style #8663, from the Fall 2006 collection. In the ivory/champagne color. The sash color is called "creme". I'm hoping to wear my hair like this. Or at least I'm going to have a trial like that and see how it comes out!
