EricaR Ideal Rock Total Posts: 2,110 Last Post: 11/23/2009 Member Since: 12/4/2007	I had so much fun trying on gowns today. We ruled out all mermaid and ball gowns because they just look silly on me. I didn't want strapless but my friend suggested that I try this one and I loved it. The dress has an overlay of really soft fabric, and it felt really soft and floaty. I got goosebumps when I turned around and saw myself in it. Unfortunately these photos are not flattering - it looked a lot better in person. After I tried on all 9 or 10 gowns I had chosen I put this one back on and it felt "right". It clings to my curves really nicely and really minimized my bust.

I think I would change up the beading a little bit, but I'm crafty like that. Some of the beads look really cheap and I'd much rather change out the larger beads for ones that are higher quality.

Did you order, or you are waiting to make the final decision? The same thing happened to me with my dress...in real life it looked really nice, but the pictures I took didn't do it justice...

I love the dress, but my concern is that I'm right in the middle of losing weight and while I don't think the shape of my body will change drastically between now and then I'm just not sure. The size I tried on can go down about another size, thanks to the lace up back. I'd like to lose another 30lbs. I could wait on the dress but I don't know if I can find it on sale again, or I can buy it in a size smaller than what I tried on. There really isn't a chance I won't lose weight - it is a health thing and am under strict orders from my doctor to drop the weight. Decisions, decisions...
