You can see pics of it here: Upgrade ring thread She got the original diamond reset in a matching necklace, and I though you folks might want to see how the set looks together. The original diamond was a .9c, D, VS1. The new diamond is a 1.79, H, VS2. Here the are together:

I forgot to mention that both pieces are custom-made by a local jeweller, so the pave/melee match on both. The pave is surprisingly high quality, I think the jeweler said it's in the VS+, G+ range and stands up well even next to the new AGS000 ISEE2 diamond. DW asked for larger than usual pave, which gives the pieces an interesting and unique look.
