Fruit Roll-Ups! And not the healthy kind, either-I have been going crazy for regular Fruit Roll-Ups! They're actually not as bad for you as one would think...I guess because they're kind of small? Only 1 gram of fat and 7 grams of sugar in each one! Of course, I have to eat at least 2 at a time.

Another nasty/delicious treat I've been getting every month or so is a box of Swiss Cake Rolls. So delicious! When I buy crap like this I like to blame my mom for feeding me pretty much only healthy food growing up...I was deprived of junky food!

Anybody else have any gross junky food they love?

Okay I'm gonna have stuff "virtually" thrown at me for this, but... my latest addiction: Mint Chocolate Cookie BALANCE BARS!! It's so weird, I know, but I'm totally obsessed with them. They taste like grasshopper cookies! I have 1, sometimes 2 (okay... sometimes 3!) per day.

Oh and those frozen fruit bar things, I think they're dreyer's or breyer's brand?

All-bran crackers... my dog is also obsessed with these.

Those things are my "junk food" now. My mom has this book that lays out foods that are equivalent calorie-wise, like 1 ho-ho OR 35 popsicles kinda thing... I could never look at junk food the same way after looking through that book!! I do get a jonesing for Zebra Cakes every now and then, though. I haven't had one since I was 12!

OMG!! I buy strawberry gushers and fruit rollups everytime I grocery shop!! I must divulge my naughty habit--I eat 2 roll-ups, with a gusher "chaser" in between. I am prone to buying fruit by the foot too. If I need my chocolate fix its gotta be caramel hershey kisses or kitkat bars. Of course I balance out the sweet and salty with a healthy dose of cheetos! I am lucky to be blessed with a semi high metabolism for all the junk I eat!! I have to laugh because a lot of times when I am posting here I am munching on one of these favorite snacks of mine!!

When I'm stressed and working too hard, I eat nutella by the spoonful, straight from the jar.

Speaking of stress, I really better get back to work. So much for the weekend!

Hummus. I can finish a container of the stuff in about 2 days. My fave is the olive oil packed Sabra brand, but I try to eat the lower fat versions. I spread it on whole wheat melba toast & eat it with scrambles in the AM & swirl it with a little lite sour cream for an afternoon snack. Supremely Spicy is my favorite flavor.

carrot cake, as many PSers know.

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. Post Cranberry Almost Crunch cereal and 0% Fage. I have been eating this combo every morning for breakfast for over a yr, and I never get tired of it...The cereal I just love...many times when I come home from work, I will just crave a bowl- I go through 2 boxes a week of the stuff!!!

I guess that's not unhealthy though, is it? My real obsession is chocolate covered pretzels. I friggin' love them. I never buy them, because if I had them in the house I would have no control and they would be gone before anyone knew they even existed!!!

I love fruit roll-ups too...and fruit snacks, and fruit by the foot, and basically anything fruity. But my absolute favorite is a fruity, gummy, sour sugar covered candy called sour punch straws. It's kinda like fruit roll-ups meet sour patch kids, and I only allow myself one per week, otherwise I would eat them every day!

I've never HEARD of these "gushers" ... and kinda sorry I did now . They no sound so good. Remember that gum that used to "gush" into your mouth. EWWWWWWWWW.

Anyhoo -- something I cannot be around or I will continue to eat until I am ILLLLLLLLLLL: Mini Belgian Cream Puffs. I'll have a box in my freezer MAYBE once a year ... usually hosting some elaborate houseparty as an excuse.
"Scr*w you people ... stay out of the way of MY PUFFS" HA! Perhaps that's an EXAGGERATION.

Things I'm (mostly) happily addicted to:

Demerara sugar in my coffee
Fat-free Vanilla Creamer
Diet Coke
Diet Cream Soda (Brown's -- YUMMO!!!)
Toblerone Bars

That's too funny deco, I love those and get them for parties too! DH will be like "Hun, why don't you serve those puffs now," and I'm all like "Uh, not sure where they are now and I think there is plenty out already..."

I will openly admit I have a problem sharing food.

Hahaha-I love how many Fruit Roll-Up lovers there are! Glad to know I'm not alone, coati, hairgirl and Sabine! hairgirl, I especially like your Gusher chaser-hilarious!

And Indy-I LOVE Nutella-I can destroy a jar in no time. I love to dip things into it, like little plain bread sticks. MMMM! I'm going to buy some today now that you mention it! You know, since the Fruit Roll-Ups and Swiss Cake Rolls just aren't enough sugary junk for me!

I love all of the stuff you mentioned.  I was slightly addicted to 0% Fage  with honey and cereal (cheerios, granola, cranberry almond cruch cereal, etc.) for a while but I've given it up for now.

One of my favorite snacks (which I haven't had in a while) are chocolate covered pretzels.  I love the combination of sweet and salty, and chocolate combined with salty pretzels is just fantastic.

I like a lot of stuff. I used to love those pink balls, marshmallow was colored pink and covered a chocolate cake thing in the center. Snowballs? I think they were made by Hostess.

I love marshmallow fluff. I also love Nabisco sugar wafers...and iced animal cookies.

I have a major sweet tooth.

As for salty, I love pringles and I love taco bell, and I am addicted to Pirates booty.

Weird stuff: Pizza hut personal pan pizzas. I look on airport websites ahead of time before I fly to see if there is a pizza hut there because that is the only time I let myself have one. They are so so bad for you and as a self proclaimed good food lover, I feel so naughty that I love these greasy pizzas!

I am also totally addicted to green tea with mango from bigelow teas. I easily go through a box or two a week of this tea. Love it! At least this addiction is healthy!

DiamondFan I have a great story about Pirate's Booty!

It was the only thing even semi-conscionable in the vending machine at my department's building when I was writing up my Ph.D. , so I got pretty seriously hooked on it as well. I used to bribe myself with it, as in "OK, I'll write 2000 words, and then I'll have PIRATE'S BOOTY!"

Anyway, once I did my writing, and got my booty out of the machine only to find... that it was stale!

I was so incensed and so overtired that I sat down at my computer and drafted a letter to the company, written entirely in Pirate Talk (as in "ARRRRR, matey! Me booty were stale!"). I printed it out and mailed it.

A few weeks later, I get a box back from the company, with a letter addressed to "Captain Indy" and engaging each pirate-complaint with a hilariously straight face, as though I were really a pirate. Things like "We're sorry that your bottle of rum just didn't taste right without a side of booty." The letter expressed the company's sincere apologies, and offered (in tow) a HUGE box of Pirate's Booty. Enough to just about finish the thesis chapter, actually.

It was so FUNNY. So, big fan of the P'Booty here.

My sugar cereal addiction is Count Chocula

My #1 favorite junkie food addiction is Kraft original macaroni and cheese in the blue box with the package of super processed, sodium filled cheese sauce. I would say it is one of my top five favorite foods period. YUM!

I used to make Nutillos. Nutella on a tortilla, rolled or folded like a burrito. Then suddenly I developed a strong allergy to hazelnuts.

I have to admit, I have no idea what some or almost all of this stuff is you're all talking about. Pirate's Booty? That story was hilarious, but I have no idea what it is. Chocolate covered potato chips--do these actually exist somewhere? Sheesh! Canada doesn't have hardly any of this stuff!

My new favorite are "Stackers", fruit roll up material that is cut into coin shaped/sized pieces. You get 5 or 6 flavors in each little pack. You tear off the coin sized stackers and stack them with other flavors to invent whole new flavor combinations. Oh my, so good.
