this may be dorky but i thought it be fun... you know your a PS'er when: you sitting at home in the window trying to get the perfect fire shot! you know your PS'er when: you can help but look into jewelers windows at the mall you know your a PS'er when: you hold photo sessions for you and your friends sparklies you know your a PS'er when: you know what the following abbrivations stand for: SMTR, LIW, BIW you know your a PS'er when: you have a file on your computer that is filled with future(dream ring/jewelry) ideas so make up your own...i would love to see what you guys come up with... psst: my inspiration for this thread was thinking about how dumb i must have looked sitting in the window at work trying to get the perfect fire shots of my asscher today hehe |

You know you're a PS'er when you spend long stints in the refrigerator shooting your rb upgrade, because you love the lighting in there!! You know you're a PS'er, because you throw around terms like "upgrade", "DSS", etc. You know you're a PS'er when you dream about diamonds. A diamond pops into my dreams just about every night. You know you're a pricescoper when you duck down low in the seat of your car, where no one can see you, so you can clean your ring or earrings before going into the mall! You know you're a pricescoper when you're driving down the road with the rear mirror turned toward you so you can see your pendant sparkling in the sun, and as a result you're swerving all over the road.

When you mentioned that on another thread, I had to tell DH - he thought it was the most hysterical thing ever, and every now and then will adopt the same name for the site if I'm spending just a little too much time here.

This is GREAT! I am laughing out loud because I so resemble most of your comments. You know you're a PS'er when your husband goes to play golf with a friend that you are visiting out of town and they offer to let you watch TV, movies, eat and you quickly ask if they have internet so you can go check out any new posts on PS. You know you're a PS'er when you are more knowledgeable about diamonds and gemstones than most of the sales people in a jewelry store You know you're a PS'er when you answer questions of other customers in a jewelry store because the sales person doesn't know the answer And to agree with everyone else's offerings: Took pics in the fridge - yep Took pictures at the window to get the sun behind my jewelry - yep Talk about things I heard / learned on PS - yep Adjust the mirrors / my hair / my hands so I can see my jewelry sparkle in the car - yep Been honked at because I was gazing at my ring and didn't notice the light turned green - yep Am the official "jewelry expert" for family, friends and co-workers - yep My diamond and my jewelry is always clean - yep I check out everyone else's jewelry and notice if it's clean - yep Have mentioned the names of people I talk to on PS like they are my friends - yep  Sparkle On My Friends! |

This is great! Like Marcy, guilty as charged on many of them. You know you're a PSer when you *hope* your FI will want to watch something horrid on TV so you have an excuse to run to the computer and *check* your email while he's watching his show. You know you're a PSer when you think of someone's post and come up with an idea or reply in the middle of the night...and actually get out of bed to go post it! You know you're a PSer when you race to your computer at every recess during work and lunch to check for new posts, thus missing the chance to use the restroom, make copies or, I dunno, eat your lunch??? You know you are a PS'er when: You can guess the size of a diamond from 30 paces. You feel smug when you see a really yukky diamond. You call other PS'ers 'my friend'..... when you talk about what someone on here said. You are a diamond snob and are far too picky when you look in a B&M store.

So many people think my wrings are new or just cleaned (duh they are clean ) - I politely say no and don't point out to them "it's the cut and quality" and my DH is always proud of me that I don't say tell them that - tee hee.I was definitely "You know you're a PSer" today when I had to keep forcing myself to pay attention to the cars in front of me insteading of enjoying the fire coming off my wrings as the sun was shining in the car window. Harleigh, I haven't gotten up in the middle of the night to respond to a post but I sure think about it all the time; I check PS when I get up, as soon as I set down to my laptop and several times a night. Maisie, I hardly look at the jewelry in the B&M at the mall anymore; I just go away disappointed and most of the diamonds leave me saying "ewe". These are great - keep them coming fellow PS'ers.
