So here are a few of the goodies that I got while I was in Tucson at the gem show.   I know I've been back all week, but finally got my luggage on Thursday afternoon with my camera hub so I could upload all my photos.  I'll start with my new eternity ring.  Now it's nothing super fancy, but is basically exactly what I was looking for.  We'll just call it a "starter" eternity ring!    (we'll keep that a secret from Dh for a little while)

Its a total carat weight of .66 with G-H SI1 diamonds.  Its set in 14k white gold, I'm not sure of the exact name of the setting style.  Someone can help me out with that one if you can.  From the top it appears bar set, but from the sides is more of a bezel set.....Anywho I love it!  I wanted something really small and simple to wear to work and it goes well with both my erings, and the smallness of it makes the center stones of those look bigger to me!  (keeping DSS at bay for a while longer)

How pretty! It's a single shared-prong style setting. Mine has a double prong between each stone, but yours has one.

Can anyone attend the Tucson Gem show, or do you have to be a jeweler?   Are the prices really good??  I love Tucson and would love to go sometime...

Thanx diamondringlover and Miscka!

Linda - anyone can go.  There is a big show at the convention center downtown and its $9 admission.  Most of the prices there are retail or just a little below.  Also there are tents set up all over town, most of them being rough rocks, fossils, and beads.  There are some cut stones, but not too many.   If your a dealer you can go into some other shows where the prices are wholesale - you need an ein# and resale licenese and sometimes they like to see a business card to get in to those.  Definately go if you have the chance!

joflier! Nice goodies!
I love your single shared prong eternity. I have a half eternity and am partial to that look. It looks lovely with your rings!
Can't wait to see what you do with that amethyst!

Thanks so much cushioncutnut!  I keep going back to your thread again and again!  your collection is amazing (and neverending)

Thank you coatimundi - I like the 1/2 eternities too, I did try on a couple, but the stones overpowered my ering a little bit......but ya know, if we go again next year, I'll have to get something else new....lol!

Thanks too Diamond dana, the ring is super dainty (and really lightweight) which is nice for wearing to work.  I'm not bumping it on anything like i do my ering!

Thanks Tacori - I know they're huge! DH got a little jealous, so he got a couple of really massive stones - not to set, but just for fun! I think he got a 35ct blue topaz emerald cut, which I do think is kind of pretty, and then he got a citrine (his birthstone) that was 40 or so carats.  I just had to laugh. I guess he felt a little left out.

Thanks so much Krisvrn and EricaR, the pear was kind of a whimsical purchase, but we'll see what I can come up with for that! lol

777-ldy - thanks. I was so pleased that it went well with both rings, the yellow diamond is set in an antique setting with a unique shape so it was hard to find something that I thought looked good with it.
