All, Appreciate any help for this newbie in making sure he didn't goof up on a major purchase. I purchased this rock for an engagement ring; it cost $7605 on Blue Nile. Is it a good rock? Will it look yellowish on the platinum setting I got with it? It is a Princess Cut, btw... Carat weight: 1.62 Cut: Very Good Color: I Clarity: VVS2 Depth %: 73.8% Table %: 76% Symmetry: Good Polish: Excellent Girdle: Thin to slightly thick Culet: None Fluorescence: None Measurements: 6.72x6.56x4.84 mm Length/width ratio: 1.02 |

Hello Larry! Welcome! Congrats on your purchase! As you may know, one cannot jugde fancy shapes just by looking at papers. Supposing the crown has a decent height (over 8-9%), it could be a nice stone. The table is a bit large, but this is very common for princesses. Depth is good. Table % should be smaller than depth %, though. Are yo able to get a Sarin? Girdle is really nice. Shouldn't be too uneven. I color looks fairly white when set in platinum.
