List of Reputable Labs for Gemstones- Saph., Emerald, Rub, etc

DBM Cut Rock Total Posts: 404 Last Post: 2/26/2008 Member Since: 10/24/2006	tried to do run some searches but couldn't find a thread that gave a complete list of the major grading labs for gemstones. So far all I have is AGTA, AIGS, GIT (which i assume are well accepted). Can anyone give a more thorough list of the reputable grading labs for gemstones. To put it from a diamond perspective: a breakdown of the GIAs, EGLUSAs, EGL-Europes, and lastly the mom-and-pop labs --- just in the gemstone world. thx Daniel DBMdiamonds.com

Was also interested though in the sort of "hierarchy" of the certs. which would be the top most respected so to speak.. also, specifically the two different SSEF labs.. are they both well respected and accurate? is one better than the other? is their any common trade jargon that is used to distinguish between the two (like SSEF Switzerland vs. SSEF Austria or something)?
