I was just wondering when I should start talking to a jeweler for having a custom ring made... well, two rings actually. I pretty much know what design I want, so that part should be easy. Just need suggestions on when to start in order to have the rings in hand around Christmas time (exchanging them on New Year's Eve) Thanks!!

Hi Haunani: The usual MINIMUM for basic custom work is anywhere between 10 - 15 business days. However if the ring is more complicated it will be longer. Some jewelers take 4-6 weeks standard!! Keep in mind that the rules change in the last quarter of the year, so build in a decent amount of time so that you are not disappointed. It would be best to approach a few different sources and get one on one feedback. Good luck! LesleyH www.whiteflash.com Director of Sales at Whiteflash from 2000-2008 |
