Well I just got back from Tucson.  What an amazing place!!!!  It was my first time to Arizona, which is is just breathtaking.  We stayed at a resort near the foothills of the Catalinas (i think it was the catalinas) anyways, it was just great!  The gem show was awesome!  I just can't believe all of the stuff!  I tried on some absolutely amazing stuff (waaaaaay out of my price-range of course!) Its nice, because there's NO pressure there.  We were in the wholesale shows, so there not playing these salesmen games at all!  I got a few goodies, which I will post later, when I get my pictures uploaded to my pc.   I'm dead beat tired right now.

We were supposed to get back late Sunday night to Green Bay with a connection in Atlanta.  Well needless to say, GB was having a record blizzard, and Atlanta was having record thunderstorms!  YIKES.  We boarded our plane in Tucson, and sat stuck there on the runway for 2 1/2 hours before they'd let us take off.  Then they wouldn't let us land, so we circled around for over an hour.  I got a little seasick with that one.  Then our flight was canceled to GB and we had to spend the night at the airport (and being a light sleeper, sleep never came).  All the flights into Wisconsin were booked for the next 2 days!  (and the ticket agents were super rude and unhelpful to us)  So we finally made a morning flight to Chicago and had to have my dear FIL come drive down (in another storm) and pick us up! And our luggage could be in one of about 6 different places.  Plus I got an ear infection from flying the first time (had just gotten over a bad cold) and flying with ear/sinus problems is one of the worst tortures I can think of.......I'm sure there are many of you who have had bad and/or worse flight experiences.  This was a first for me, all of my flying had been relatively trouble free before this. Sigh.

Oh well.  We're home safely and that's really all that matters.  (plus I have a couple new sparklies)

What an ordeal!  I bet you are beat.

Glad you made it home safely ... and with some new sparklies, to boot!
Can't wait to see them.

It was quite stressful but you probably STILL win! My parents live in WI so I hear how hard they are getting hit this winter! Makes me glad I moved out of the midwest.
