Anyone subscribe to Martha Stewart Weddings?

Their website shows that they have recieved my payment and mailed the first issue. Two weeks later I hadn't recieved it. I reported a missing issue through their customer service website. Its two weeks later again and still no magazine. I'm so tempted to buy it in the store but of course it defeats the purpose of my subscription. Is this normal for them? I'm getting really impatient. I love this magazine and I was so looking forward to it.

When I first became engaged, my Aunt subscribed me to two magazines through a different service (not straight through Martha Stewart itself). The magazines - Martha Stewart Weddings and Brides - always came on time.

misysu2 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 821 Last Post: 12/5/2008 Member Since: 3/14/2007	Usually magazines can take 6-8 weeks to start arriving at your house, so I'd wait a little longer. You may want to buy this issue, because you may start out with next month's. Have you tried calling them?

They cashed my cheque and finally two and a half months later I emailed them and they said it is being sent to me! Well, it wasn't and I canceled after several blunt emails from their CS manager and swore I would never buy a MS mag again (I haven't) but was really disappointed because I love all the ideas in it. My sweet sister ended up buying a subscription for me, she knew how sad I was about it! She never told me and it started showing up EXACTLY one year from when my subscription should have started, so I thought, what? are they one year off or something? Heehee. She tricked me. I love her! I'm still pissed at how they handled everything, very rude and blaming me for not receiving the issue! I hope it works out better for you, my advice....don't back down! I had to press for a refund. It took many emails and switching from a CSR to their manager and even then it was difficult!

MMM Ideal Rock Total Posts: 526 Last Post: 10/12/2009 Member Since: 9/19/2006	i'm so sorry you are having this trouble... it's strange though because i bought a martha wedding mag and then pulled out the card to subscribe and i was kind of annoyed because me subscriptions started so fast that they sent me the magazine i had already bought! i thought it would start with the next one coming out since the one on stands at the time was ending its run. oh well.... good luck sorting this out. especially since martha is my favorite of all the wedding magazines <3

And if you've bought the recent issue, when you call, just tell them you already bought that issue and to please start the subscription with the NEXT issue. It's really not a big deal and I do it all the time. I've never had any issues by phone with any magazine subscription telesales.
