Does anyone know the height of the endless love 1.8mm eternity? I found a nice alternative at www.estatediamondjewelry.com and it's 1.5mm high and I'm not sure if it'll match up nicely next to my endless love round halo engagement ring. We can't justify close to $2k on a wedding band right now.

you should probably call a Ritani dealer and ask them. My *guess* is that it would be higher than 1.5mm just b/c Ritani stones seem to be pave set a little deeper/lower in almost like a channel which is part of the reason you don't hear of stones coming out of their settings very often. my suggestion would be to just save up, maybe open a seperate ring fund savings account, and wait until you can get the matching band. If you really don't want to do that then it's possible another band would still work, but it's not going to be an exact match.

Honestly, I'd rather just get a plain band for the ceremony than skimp on the eternity ring now. Nothing will compare to the quality of the Ritani setting, and you might end up buying it in the end anyway if you're unhappy about the quality of a less expensive band. How about making it an anniversary present? |

You're probably right. I am thinking about a plain 2mm platinum band for now. I would like something a little smaller though but can't find any plain platinum bands thinner than 2mm. My fiance did say the eternity band is all mine if I wait till our 10 year anniversary in 2 years.

I saw some of his stuff and he did have some pretty thin bands.
