Hi again,

I posted around the first of the month asking for opinions on a diamond I selected from jamesallen.com.  I received great feed back on the diamond and setting and moved forward.  Well, since then they have been having a difficult time finding light to med. ceylon blue sapphires for the sidestones.  This is a three stone 10 year anniversary ring that would have the sapphires on the sides and the 1.12ct J/SI1 that I selected in the center.

Here is the link to the setting:  http://www.jamesallen.com/products/item_260-491_build.asp?module=setting

Here is the link to the diamond:  http://www.jamesallen.com/diamond.asp?find=1&cid=130&item=1111994

Please help me find my sapphires for the sides!!!  I have looked at these but I have no confidence in my ability to make a good sapphire choice  http://www.simplysapphires.com/html/imagesblue2006/bluerns5123-sm.html

Also, these  http://www.planetarygems.com/images/Thai%20sapphire%20pair%204.9mm%20ROUND.JPG

And these, but it would change my setting again  http://www.planetarygems.com/images/blue%20sapp.%20trillions%20pair%205mm%201.22%20ct..jpg

I am beginning to think that this ring is just not meant to be.

Amanda

Hi Amanda, what size do the sidestones need to be?

I have to say I'm a little surprised that the jeweler would expect you to go out and source the sapphires, when they probably have access to more vendors than you would.

Or call Wink - www.winkjones.com

They have access to far more stones than you will be able to find - and I trust Wink's eyes as well as I trust my own.

He's found me some amazing rocks - and for others on PS.
