fabcrab Cut Rock Total Posts: 463 Last Post: 6/27/2009 Member Since: 9/2/2006	Oops somehow my post didn't show up. My diamond is 0.8 ct rb ACA. I really love the look of halos but I'm scared that I'll start missing the classic look. Help!

Is it just that you like the look, or is it that you're trying to maximize size? If you'd like the halo, but you worry about changing your mind, then I'd go with a prong-set halo instead of a bezel set. Then if you miss the solitaire look, you can remove the diamond without ruining the halo setting. You can pick a simple solitaire setting for your diamond, and you can set a colored stone into the halo setting. I used to not like halos that much but ever since trying on a delicate tacori halo, I just fell head over heels with it. I'm trying to see if it's really "the one" since there's nothing worse than buyer's remorse so I'm trying to see other options just to double check it's really what I want. If you like the halo look, but aren't 100% sure about it, get a colored stone ring with a halo as a RHR. I prefer halos with colored gems over diamonds myself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number you get in a diamond. ~Mae West
