How cool is that? I voted in a Boston Magazine kitchen contest and got an email saying that I won a [teeny 20"] LCD TV. Of course, I called Boston Magazine to make sure it was for real, etc. LOL! We are upgrading it to a bigger one, of course.  The last thing I won was a gold plated golf putter about 10 years ago [they engraved my name on it!]! ROTFL! It is still leaning up against the fireplace mantle - I don't play golf. I think the TV will get put to much better use.

Congratulations! I won $250 a few years ago on a raffle. They called and left a message and I didn't return their call until one of my friend's told me I really did win. Oh fun!!!! Yay for you diamante! Yeah, I won a pair of college basketball tickets last year, but that wasn't real exciting. Not a bball fan.

Thanks! It is pretty funny. I was at a conference in September and I "knew" I would win the big TV. Not. We had been talking about getting a new TV [the existing downstairs one's tube is shoeing a picture that looks like an hourglass so everybody is way skinny and I'm getting a complex - but we are not big TV people] and then I got that email. Too funny! Now I have to get off my but to get this new set! LOL! ============================ |

Just be careful! Our new tv turned into a new TiVo HD, a new DVD player, a new surround sound speaker system, and a new $150 remote control!
