I'm diving into the daunting task of picking out an engagement ring and really appreciate everything I've been reading here over the last weeks. I'm pretty stuck on the Vatche X Prong or the Royal X Prong, but have only seen them online. Does anyone know of a retailer in Portland, OR where I'd be able to get in closer contact with one of these? Thanks!

I know pearlmans will do this, but they don't carry vatche. if that doesn't work,I'd try going to some jewelers in your area and see if they might be able to order in the settings for you? many times jewelers can still get in settings of designers they don't carry. ----------------------------- A deal is only a deal if you are getting exactly what you want.

My preference would be royal crown or swan. The closest I found is a 3-hour drive. They didn't even have the ones I wanted to see. BUT after exchanging a few emails they did get them in. Now, when the weather cooperates, I plan to take a road trip. The peace of mind that will come from seeing the actual ring on my finger first will be well worth it. Best wishes to you!
