Question about LynnB's ring

jen2M Rough Rock Total Posts: 91 Last Post: 11/9/2009 Member Since: 1/24/2008	Hi all I probably look at LynnB's Harmony setting from whiteflash daily. It is one of my favorite and I am really thinking about getting it for my ER. I keep reading in postings that because of the popularity of her design, whiteflash is now carrying her ring. When I look at pictures of the harmony on WF website it still looks a lot different than LynnB. I love how the basket of her ring is incorporated into the ring. On WF it still appears to be sitting on top. Is this still a custom design and if so, how much more expensive is it to get a custom ring from WF vs. one they have in stock. Thanks!

Best is to contact whiteflash directly with your concern - it may or may not incur a custom charge to make it look exactly like Lynn's head (though hopefully not!), and obviously they are the best ones to advise on their fees.

Yes, the head on the harmony ring is different from LynnB's rings. Since hers is incorporated into the band, it would not allow for any upgrading of the center stone. WF may have redesigned the head to allow for changing the center stone if you upgrade. Or it may have been so that LynnB's ring remain solely her design. You will need to call and ask WF if they can make the head like hers and if that would cause the ring to become a custom job. Do you have a center stone already or are you still looking?

You can easily ask them to mimic Lynn's integrated head for you without any problem. Many other's who have wanted that set have asked for the alteration. Just give them a call, they'll be happy to help you!

I kick myself on a pretty regular basis for not getting something like hers instead of my solitaire w/ shared prong eternity wedding band.....too late for me, I hope you can get one like hers!

Jenn, aren't you the one with Tiffany rings? If so, shame on you! Many of us wish we had YOUR rings! I've even seen Lynn say that sometimes she wishes she had a plain solitaire! The grass is ALWAYS greener somewhere else! (ETA: I looked back and saw that they are Tiffany repro, but STILL gorgeous!) ~~~ When in doubt...don't.~~~
