Ok I need a little help here, I am looking to get the best diamond a little over a carat weight for under $6000. Going for an ideal cut to make up for giving up a little in color and clarity. After a lot of looking around online and in stores I have narrowed it down to these 2 stones. Shopping at bluenile since they have the setting i really want and can't find it anywhere else. Thanks in advance.

Welcome!

Out of the diamonds you posted, I would prefer the first one, or if you are set on buying from BN and one of their advisors can tell you if it is eyeclean-

this one could be well worth considering if you don't mind an SI1 clarity.

If the stone Lorelei posted is eyeclean, I would go with that one... it looks great. :)

Thanks for the replies, I would be a little worried about the SI1 clarity on the diamond you posted, would it be worth going for that one over the two I posted just due to the fact that bluenile considers it a "signiture" ideal. While GIA and ASGL considers them all just Excellent (ideal) cut?

I still think I am leaning to one of these two:

Both of these stones have potential, but to be honest, I'd go with the one Lorelei picked also, IF it's eyeclean.

It's got absolutely great numbers across the board, and the crown/pavillion angles are in a very safe range (since they round them, you don't know what they are for sure).

2nd pick would be the AGS.

Just my .02.

John Swinton [1829-1901] Chief Editorial Writer of the New York Times (Considered "the Dean of his Profession" by his peers), when asked to toast an 'Independent Press' in a gathering at the National Press Club, circa 1880

"There is no such thing in America as an independent press unless it is in the country towns. You know it, and I know it. There is not one of you who dare express an honest opinion. If you express it you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid... for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for doing similar things....

The business of the New York journalist is to distort the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and sell his country and race for his daily bread, or for what is about the same thing, his salary. You know this, and I know it and what foolery to be toasting an 'independent press.' We are tools, and the vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping-jacks. They pull the strings and we dance. Our time, our talents, our lives, our possibilities, all are the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."

I think I am going to go with this diamond. I am a little worried about the AGSL report showing no feathers or clouds whatsoever on a VS2 clarity though, could it really be that "clean"?

it says feather, cloud, and cavity under the clarity characteristics.  looks like a good buy.
