Hi. I saw a Henri Daussi ring in person which my gf loved and I'm trying to find a photo of it online... or something similar. I managed to find the ring (i think its it) but only from the top view. I remember seeing similar rings in person and the way it was mounted was different from one to another... so I want to make sure I find the mounting style that I like. It seems to be hard to find something like that that looks as gentle as the one we saw in person. Rounded band not hard edged (if that makes any sence), low profile mount, with not too much airstrip. henri daussi rings only sell with stones already so I guess its no point for me to even search for that particular ring in a retail location. The other photo I found from Leon Mage...but I read on his site that he doesn't provide other photos then whats already on his site... and I dont see that ring in profile. I'm considering to just get that ring made by him but his quote is more then I was expecting.... im trying to keep the price down for the ring so I can spend more on the rock (cushion around 2c). Oh yea... and speaking of the rock... many photos I see of similar rings in profile... look like the cushion protrudes out... and the ring I saw looked like the stone was much more flushed with the halo. So which cut of the cushion is less "bubbly"? Any help is greatly apreciated, Thanks

I saw a Hearts on fire setting very similiar to the first pic. There is barely any airstrip and the diamond sits low with the halo. It was between that setting and another one. My FI decided to go with the split shank. I still think about the halo setting...it was beautiful! Here is a link to it. http://www.michaelcfina.com/ic/mcfina/sections/wedding_engagement_rings/engagement_rings/hearts_on_fire_engagement_rings/:product/code/180536REPE0486.html?block=1 Believe me, it looks great in person...so delicate.

Thank you for the link... definitely helps. I wonder if there are any other ways of mounting the airstrip without the bridges coming in the way they do in that HOF ring. I can't recall if thats how I saw the daussi ring mounted ;/ I think I prefer a \/ type of mounting over a /\ ... dont know if theres a specific word for that
