What to wear to a baby's 1st birthday party????

Anyway I need your help I'm going to one of my good girlfriend's son's 1st b'day party this coming Sunday (27th) and I was wondering what would be a cute but appropriate outfit to wear? There will be other babies and mommys and lots of married couples there. I'm not married yet and FI can't go he works and we don't have kids yet and my ex will be there too. I was thinking jeans and a cute top with a cardigan or something but pls suggest with pics I'm kinda stuck I haven't been out in ages I want to look pretty but not stupid. It is in the afternoon 1pm to 3pm Thanks so much!

Also, you will want to wear something comfortable as you will probably be involved in playing games with some of the youngsters.
