I am confuse about a few things.  I believe I read somewhere here that some diamonds can be a H&A diamond but does not have the best brilliance.  I think the same goes for a stone that is graded AGS0 and may also not be a H&A cut.  So my question is, how do you determine the best diamond? How do you know that it will give the best light performance?  I know that white flash and good old gold provides ideal scope images but how do you really compare.  I have two diamonds in mind and I believe one is an AGSO and the other is a H&A cut.  They are relatively close in price but I do not know how to decide which one will have the best light performance. What should I be looking at?

In that case, ask for an Ideascope and ASET picture.  One checks for light leakage and the other for light performance.  When you have both for the WF and GOG, post them here for comments and the regulars will tell you why one is better than the other (or it may just be splitting hairs and be a personal taste thing).

Yes get the numbers so we can see, also Idealscope images are useful, but with diamonds of this calibre they should both be top performers, but might just have different personalities.

Just chiming in here, an ACA is one of the best cut diamonds in the world, you can't go wrong with one of those.  The diamond above has superb numbers and light performance.

You cannot go wrong with either of those diamonds. I didn't see the color or clarity rating for the first one. Pretty much you need to decided which one has everything you want. If they are the same color and clarity and you confirmed there are no visible inclusions choose by price. Good luck and they are both good choices.

Does the two diamond look okay?  If I pick either one, it will be a good choice?

What you have there are 2 of the best cut diamonds available, you could pick either and not go wrong!
