Starbutts -- That stone is BEEEAUTIFUL!  I can't wait to either see more pics of it by itself or in it's new setting.

Congrats on finding such a gorgeous diamond!

Wow! Congratulations on the amazing ring... I love it!

Try taking the ring outside, or if it's too cold, just stand near a window and position the ring in direct sunlight to get some lovely firey pics. I find reaaaally bright sunlight is best for getting rainbows off my stone.

There's a 'Fire Thread' in 'Show me the Ring' which you can put your pictures in too, when you get some. :)

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I love it!!!!

Will you please take more photos, not just of that GORGEOUS stone, but also of the setting? I'd love to see some profile shots and shots taken from behind to see the basket. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

And I see you called him your boyfriend, does that mean you don't get to wear that beauty all the time just yet?

That second to last shot is just stunning. You really need to start a new thread in the SMTR section. I know everyone would love to see this ring, and many of them don't come in RT. Would you please??

And you've gotten good advice on capturing sparkle, Also, really strong but diffused sunlight can be good. Some indoor lighting works, but it also tends to make the stone look yellow.
