So far nothing negative stands out, but it is impossible to evaluate this stone with the information provided.  Do you have the symmetry/polish, and crown height infomation?  Also, with radiants it's really best to view images or even better to view them with your own eyes.  Can you ask the vendor to provide picture, an ideal scope image or an asset image?

Who certified this stone?  AGS, GIA, EGL?

The symmetry and polish are "very good." The crown height is 16.6%.

Here is the idealscope image.

Hi Garry,

What additional information would be useful for you to know to judge the radiant that I am considering?

Well, they don't do necessarily anything and I definitely view them as secondary.  However, I think that at least VG/VG polish/symmetry are indicators of attention to detail of the cutter and somtimes stones will great polish/symmetry are more likely to have other aspects of cut quality that are important...but I don't have any actual evidence on this...

So far, I am liking this radiant.  The crown height is where I would personally like it.  The ideal scope image looks pretty good for a fancy as well, it's common to see quite a bit of white on radiants.  Do you have any regular pictures of the stone?  What does the vendor say about its performance in person?

It looks like a nice Radiant, can you get an ASET image for it?

ASET info here if you need it - http://www.pricescope.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=73949

Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...
