Anyone in AZ heard of The Castle at Ashley Manor?

Anyone live in AZ or been to AZ and seen this place? The pictures look great but that can be deceiving! I'm nervous to pick something I've never seen....just hoping it's as good as the pics! www.thecastleatashleymanor.com

MustangGal Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,173 Last Post: 11/20/2009 Member Since: 6/18/2004	I live in Phoenix, and remember getting a flyer for this place at a bridal show, but I've never been there. Sorry! The pictures look really pretty though. If I lived closer to Chandler I wouldn't mind scoping it out, but I'm on the other side of the city.

It is a beautiful place but one thing to consider is that it's right across from a dairy farm and the smell can be a bit much. I guess it all really depends on the time of year you will be getting married, as it tends to smell stronger at times. If you are not planning on spending much time outside then you should be ok. I just couldn't get past the fact that our guests would pull up to our venue and smell the "nice" dairy air as soon as they got out of their cars. i didn't want that smell to be associated with our wedding, as silly as that may be! I have seen a few other venues in my search to find mine so if you have any other questions just let me know

christyjohar Rough Rock Total Posts: 3 Last Post: 2/4/2008 Member Since: 2/4/2008	The Castle at Ashley Manor was AWESOME. I had my own wedding there, and I couldn't smell the cows at all. The cows are not right across the street. There is a HUGE empty field across the street, and across that field is or was a former dairy farm. A lot of that land is being bought up right now and built on. The Castle is just as nice as the pics on their web site if not better. I am booking some of my clients for that venue as well, and highly reccomend it. I have a whole list of other places too though, if you need.
